Abstract

As part of this project, the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice and the Deggendorf University of Technology are implementing a joint cross-border master's degree program focused on artificial intelligence, data science, big data and data mining. The subject of the project is to prepare accreditation materials, to successfully pass the accreditation process on the Czech and Bavarian side, the output of which will be an accredited double joint program ending with a joint diploma. The joint study program consists of a compulsory semester at each of the two universities. The language of instruction is English. At the scientific level, the program is very modern and focuses on top topics such as machine learning, autonomous intelligent systems and automatic big data processing. Together with both partner universities, regional companies will be involved in the preparation so that the content of the program meets their needs and interests as future employers of graduates. The project will contribute to the long-term development of technology industries in the region in a unique and sustainable way.
