Team & Collaboration

Team & Collaboration (2020):

We are mainly focused on phylogeny, population-genetics and coevolutionary studies on several model systems of apicomplexan parasites, particularly on eimerians in rodents and haemogregarines in reptile hosts. Our research is also related to the areas of host specificity, morphology, and taxonomy/systematics of apicomplexans. We are also interested in correlations between the composition and diversity of gut microbiota and presence of viral, bacterial and parasitic agents in murid rodents.
