    Cross-border education - it is full-time education, when half of the semesters students are studying in the Czech Republic, and the other half of the semesters abroad. In our case, the students learn at the Faculty of Science in the Czech Budejovice and in Johannes Kepler University in Linz in Austria.

    České Budějovice is a statutory city in the Czech Republic. It is the largest city in the South Bohemian Region as well as its political and commercial capital, the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of České Budějovice, the University of South Bohemia, and the Academy of Sciences. It is located in the center of a valley of the Vltava River, at the confluence with the Malše.

About Institute of Applied Informatics

Institute of Applied Informatics (UAI for short) is part of the Faculty of Science, University of South Bohemia in Budweis. In terms of research activities, our academics are focused mainly: security, simulations, multimedia, long-term archiving of electronic data, wireless sensory networks, system integration, etc.
