Institute of Chemistry introduced a Scholarship for outstanding bachelor thesis to award those bachelor students, who worked very hard and produced a really outstanding thesis. This means not only getting good and interesting results but also to prepare a very well written thesis and to defend it with an excellent result. 1000 CZK will be awarded to these students from now on. >

Courses FBI/003E and FBI/007E are removed from the bachelor Biological Chemistry curriculum from the academic year 2019/2020. The course OJZ/510 is not mandatory for students enrolled via USB from the academic year 2019/2020. >
The scientific activities of the institute are closely related to biological disciplines traditional for the Faculty of Science (formerly Faculty of Biological Sciences) or the institutes of the Biology Centre of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic that co-exist and closely cooperate in one campus.
