Subject: Call for applications – EPFLglobaLeaders: 48 doctoral fellowships supported by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions
I am contacting you regarding the launch of the calls for applications for the EPFLglobaLeaders programme in our institution. EPFL is one of the most dynamic university campuses in Europe and ranks among the top 20 universities worldwide.
EPFLglobaLeaders is a new international doctoral fellowship programme funding early stage researchers to become leaders in the transition towards sustainable societies. Forty-eight doctoral fellows will benefit from a multifaceted training programme, including a secondment in the non-academic sector. They will be enrolled in one of the 21 EPFL doctoral programmes.
EPFLglobaLeaders has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 945363, which covers part of the PhD students’ salary for 48 months.
The calls for applications are open from 1 October 2020 to 15 December 2020 (Call 1) and from 1 February 2021 to 15 April 2021 (Call 2).
We think that the EPFLglobaLeaders fellowship programme is an attractive opportunity, and we hope that you will be able to distribute this information within your university.
