About event

Dear colleagues, friends, students and members of the university community, another year has passed, and I am pleased to invite you once again to the traditional Christmas Party of the Faculty of Science, University of South Bohemia.

The event will take place on Wednesday, December 10th, 2025 at the Faculty of Science, B Building.

This year, there will be plenty to look forward to: a selection of excellent beers and wines, Christmas punch in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions, and much more. You can also enjoy a generous variety of open sandwiches and other treats. Vegans, vegetarians and gluten-free guests, no worries, we will do our best to provide options for you as well. As every year, you can also expect a special gourmet surprise, and trust me, you do not want to miss it.

Please bring your own cup, mug, horn, carafe, or any other creative drinking vessel. Let’s enjoy our drinks in style and avoid unnecessary waste.

A contribution of 300 CZK is being collected for the event. Please transfer the amount to account no. 670100-2225898260/6210 (write your name as a note) or use the QR code in the attached flyer.
As tradition goes, the evening will also feature a fun competition with exciting prizes. This year’s challenge is to bake and decorate the most original gingerbread with a natural-science theme. Simply bring your gingerbread and place it in the designated display area, and don’t forget to vote for your favourites.
