On Friday, 9 October 2026, the Matriculation Ceremony of first-year bachelor's students of the Faculty of Science, University of South Bohemia, took place in the newly renovated University Aula.
During this traditional academic ceremony, newly admitted students were officially welcomed into the academic community and affirmed their membership in the university by taking the matriculation oath. The formal ceremony was followed by an informal afternoon gathering for first-year students in Building B of the Faculty of Science. The event provided an opportunity to meet fellow students from across different study programmes, build new friendships, and spend time in a friendly atmosphere with lecturers and members of the Academic Senate, who organised the gathering. Refreshments, music, and fun activities helped create a welcoming environment and made it easier for new students to take their first steps at the faculty.
We wish all new students a successful start to their academic journey, many achievements in both their studies and personal lives, and countless memorable experiences during their years at the Faculty of Science, University of South Bohemia.
