Our project department actively participated in an international workshop Matchmaking Cluster 6 held in Brussels as part of the CrossPaths project. This event focused on connecting the academic sector, research organizations, and other relevant stakeholders with the aim of fostering new project partnerships and strengthening international cooperation.
During the workshop, a representative of our project department, Ing. Veronika Čtvrtníková, actively participated in the program, presenting the activities of the Faculty of Science and opportunities for collaboration on international projects. The participation also included a series of individual meetings with potential partners from various European institutions, with whom opportunities for involvement in future project calls and joint initiatives were discussed.
The workshop program offered a diverse range of activities, from introductory presentations focused on the goals and tools of the CrossPaths project, to thematic sessions dedicated to sharing best practices, and interactive workshops and matchmaking meetings. These enabled participants to establish concrete contacts and discuss opportunities for future collaboration in the fields of research, innovation, and regional development. At the same time, the interactive workshops provided a space for identifying common interests, sharing experiences from project implementation, and seeking new approaches to addressing current challenges, with discussions focusing primarily on supporting cross-sectoral cooperation and the development of innovation ecosystems.
The Project Department’s participation in this event contributed to expanding the university’s international network of contacts and opened new opportunities for the university’s involvement in future project initiatives. The insights and contacts gained will be utilized in preparing future projects and strengthening the university’s international cooperation.
