A two-day workshop brought together students and researchers to discuss community and stress ecology in the context of climate change
Community & Stress Ecology Workshop — October 21–22, 2025
The Department of Ecosystem Biology at the Faculty of Science, University of South Bohemia, hosted a two-day workshop focused on community and stress ecology in the context of climate change.
The event brought together around 30 participants, including keynote speakers Evelyne Franquet, Ana Previšić, Owen Petchey, and Pavel Kratina, along with early-career researchers who presented and discussed new insights on aquatic–terrestrial linkages, biodiversity under stress, and ecological stability.
We thank all participants for their valuable contributions, and the University of South Bohemia, the Faculty of Science, and the Department of Ecosystem Biology for their support in making this event possible.
