Faculty of Science signs Memorandum of Cooperation with the Festival Water sea oceans

The Faculty of Science of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the International Film Festival Water sea oceans. This step transforms the existing collaboration into an official partnership aimed at raising awareness about environmental protection, water, and climate—not only during the festival week but also through additional events throughout the year.

“We are pleased to be part of this wonderful initiative, which aims to inspire a more responsible approach to nature and water resources—something that is naturally close to us as scientists. We believe that our joint activities will bring new inspiration not only to the festival but also to our faculty and its students. We would like to invite audiences to the film festival, which will take place this year from September 8 to 14 in Hluboká nad Vltavou, where they can look forward to expert lectures led by scientists and specialists from our faculty,” said Vice-Dean for Public Relations RNDr. Magda Zrzavá, Ph.D.
