Lecture by CZELO Representatives: What Is Currently Happening in the EU in the Field of Science, Research and Innovation?
On 23 September 2026 at 14:00, a lecture by representatives of CZELO, Lenka Procházková, Head of the CZELO Office, and David Chvála, Research Consultant, entitled “What is currently happening in the EU in the field of science, research and innovation?” will take place in the University of South Bohemia Aula.
Content:
· What is the current situation? Number of EU programmes, number of EU agencies, fragmentation, the structure of Horizon Europe 1.0, programme committees and expert advisory groups.
· ·Work programmes and how can we work with them? Register of the process of discussions in committees (so-called comitology).
· Legislative process and the roles of the European Commission, the Council of the EU and the European Parliament – when it is possible to influence the process and whom to approach.
· The future of the 2028+ Framework Programme (FP10) and its connection to the ECF, so-called policy windows, including possible problematic aspects – particularly Widening; new EU programmes.
