On 17–18 September, the Centre for Polar Ecology at the Faculty of Science, University of South Bohemia, is hosting PARC2026 (Polar and Research Conference 2026).
The conference brings together more than 40 scientists from 10 Czech institutions involved in Arctic and Antarctic research. The programme covers a broad range of topics, from geology, glaciology and permafrost research to microbiology. An important part of the discussion also focuses on the involvement of Czech polar research teams in the Fifth International Polar Year (IPY5).
