The election of a candidate for the position of Dean of FoS USB

Dear Members of the Academic Community,

The Academic Senate of the Faculty of Science, University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice (FSci USB), hereby announces the election of a candidate for the position of Dean of FSci USB for the term from 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2031.

To organise the election, the Academic Senate of FSci USB has appointed an electoral committee comprising Josef Juráň, Michaela Syrová and Nikolas Tolar. Nominations may be submitted by any member of the Faculty’s academic community, i.e. any student or academic staff member, by email from their Faculty email address to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., no later than 12:00 noon on 19 November 2026. Each nomination must include the candidate’s first name, surname and email address, as well as the nominator’s first name and surname. The electoral committee will subsequently confirm the nominated candidate’s consent.

The names of the nominated candidates will be published on 23 November 2026. All members of the Faculty’s academic community may submit written comments on the nominated candidates by 12:00 noon on 27 November 2026.

Candidates for the position of Dean will introduce themselves at a meeting of the Faculty’s academic community on 30 November 2026 at 17:00, in lecture room B2 in building B. The election of a candidate for the position of Dean will take place at a meeting of the Academic Senate FSci USB on 30 November 2026, following the meeting of the Faculty’s academic community.
