Academic Senate
The Academic Senate of the FSc USB is a self-governing supervisory body of the faculty composed of 13 members – seven academic staff representatives and six student representatives. The Academic Senate ensures compliance with laws, internal regulations, academic rights and freedoms, and serves as a platform for communication between the faculty management and the academic community, which consists of the faculty's academics and students. The Senate meets regularly and, during its sessions, not only votes on individual documents but also discusses suggestions from the academic community. Senate meetings are public, and members of the academic community are warmly invited to attend.

Meeting Dates

The meeting schedule of the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Science, University of South Bohemia, is arranged at least once per semester and will be specified in due course. No further meetings of the Senate are planned for the remainder of 2025. Following the New Year, an inaugural session of the Senate will be convened, after which the anticipated meeting dates for 2026 will be published.
