On Thursday, November 20, at 1:30 PM, as part of the joint seminars of the Department of Experimental Plant Biology and the Institute of Molecular Plant Biology, BC ASCR, a lecture will take place in room B1 by Prof. Guy Smagghe, who works at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), Brussels (Belgium) and Guizhou University, Guiyang (China). Prof. Smagghe is an expert on plant–insect interactions, and his lecture will focus on the potential use of RNA interference in crop protection against insects.
